High-End Cards: Topps Five Star Football
The latest high-end product announced from Topps is Five Star Football, which is heavy on various autographed cards and relic/autograph combinations.
The high-end football cards continue to parade onto the market. Topps Five Star Football, slated to release in February, will feature three base cards, one base rookie autographed patch card, one autographed rookie card, one autographed veteran/retired or autographed patch card, one autographed relic book or dual autograph card and one jumbo jersey relic or patch card in every pack. Say that five times fast.
The dual autograph and autograph booklet cards present very nicely and will be big draws to this set, along with the following additional hits:
- Redemptions for autographed rookie jerseys numbered 1-of-1.
- Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III autograph continuity program.
- Rookie Yearbook Card: Giant-sized book card featuring the group shot at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere on the left inside panel and patch relics of each player on the right inside panel. Numbered to five.
- Luck and Griffin, Five Star Giants: 10-1/2-by- 8-1/2-inch cards of full-bleed action photography taken from the NFLPA Rookie Premiere, framed and autographed.
