Panini America’s 2018 Prime NASCAR Racing recently arrived in hobby shops packing a bevy of some prime-patch cards. But it’s one obscure autographed card that’s likely to garner the most headlines. It’s a Dual Signatures card that’s supposed to include autographs from NASCAR drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Danica Patrick. But a funny thing happened on the way to that card being signed by both superstars: Patrick, who signed her portion of the cards prior to Earnhardt Jr. receiving them, overlooked card #6/10 – an omission not missed by Junior.

So Dale Jr. did what he does so well: He had a little fun by signing his autograph and then using Danica’s space to playfully call her out: “She missed one,” he scribbled, followed by a simple “JR” inscription. In the process, Junior turned an innocent oversight into a one-of-a-kind keepsake that could very well be one of the most desirable cards in the product. If you’re lucky enough to pull that card, well, now you know what happened.
