Topps turns clock back with 1971 black-border design
2020 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball
In a follow-up from an earlier release, Topps returns to its 1971 design with the black border in its Heritage High Number Baseball set.
Topps fills in cards from #501 to #725, featuring 200 base cards filled with rookie call-ups and traded players. The primary set includes 25 short prints.
Chrome Parallels includes Hot Box Refractor, Base Refractor numbered to 571, White Bordered numbered to 71, Gold Bordered numbered to 5 and a 1-of-1 SuperFractor.
Look for Mini editions numbered to 100, short-printed variations such as Action Image, Silver Team Name, Missing Signature and Throwback Uniform variations.
Inserts include Award Winners, dual-player Combo Cards and Now and Then, comparing 2020 to 1971, and also 15 Rookie Performers. The set also features new inserts like 1971 World Series Highlights (Pirates vs. Orioles) and Let’s Play 2(528) in honor of Ernie Banks.
Search for hard-signed Real One Autographs and low-numbered Special Edition Red Ink numbered to 71, like the new 1971 World Series Champion Autographs from various players from the World Champ Pirates.
Seek out Clubhouse Collection Relics with Gold variations numbered to 99, plus hand-numbered Clubhouse Collection Dual Relics (to 71), Triple Relics (to 25) and Quad Relics (to 10), along with Patch parallels all 1-of-1s.
Look for on-card signatures in Clubhouse Collection Autograph Relics (25 or less) and Clubhouse Collection Dual Autograph Relics (to 10 or less), along with 1-of-1s Patch parallels.
One-of-one Cut Signatures of players and celebrities from 1971 round out the hit lineup.
The product configuration is nine cards per pack, 24 packs per box and 12 boxes per case with a Hobby Box Break of one autograph or relic. The release was scheduled for Dec. 30.
2019-20 NBA Hoops Premium Stock
About a year after its 2019-20 NBA Hoops release comes NBA Hoops Premium Stock, featuring updated photos of players on their new teams along with updated game-action photography of rookies. Opti-Chrome technology is used on all the cards.
Find autographs of the top NBA rookies, veterans and legends in Rookie Ink Flash, Hoops Ink Flash and Hot Signatures Rookies Flash.
Hobby Hybrid boxes are the only place to find Flash Prizms. Look for a variety of colors numbered to as low as 1 for Base, High Voltage, Rookie Variation and Rookie Special.
