Cam Schlittler rookie cards rise amid Yankees Cy Young talk
Cy Young Award speculation in American League circles includes a newcomer: Yankees flamethrower Cam Schlittler.
During the last couple of months of the 2025 season, he was brilliant, and this season, he picked up where he left off. Through August, Schlittler had an 11-8 record with 193 strikeouts in 158 innings. Ironically, he hails from the Boston area, growing up a fan of the Yankees’ archrival Red Sox.
Already looking like he’ll be a dominant ace for a long time, Schlittler is the focus of a growing hobby following. His earliest cards are attracting fast attention. One-of-one versions have brought significant prices; among them a PSA 10 2025 Bowman Chrome Sapphire Padparadscha autograph that sold for $17,100 in 2026.
The 2025 Bowman set gave the hobby a worthy supply of signed Schlittler cards. We’re seeing a flood of variations of that “1st Bowman” card on eBay, and they’re no longer the “steals” they were in summer 2025. To wit, check out the realized prices for Schlittler’s 1st Bowman card:
• $7,099 on 41 bids for a Shimmer graded PSA 10 and, like the others below, autographed.

• $5,101 on 60 bids for an Orange Wave Refractor graded PSA 10 and marked #20/25.
• $4,800 on 26 bids for a PSA 10 Sapphire Gold Refractor marked #6/50.
• $4,151 on 50 bids for a Blue Refractor marked #105/150 slabbed as a PSA 10. Still another PSA 10 Blue Refractor sold for$4,001 on 25 bids.
The photograph on these Bowman Chrome cards is a game shot of Schlittler on the mound at Yankee Stadium. Kudos to the photographer who captured a candid view of a heroic-looking hurler.
There’s a wealth of other Schlittler cards worth viewing and pursuing. One of them is his 2026 Topps Chrome, which captures the pitcher in a mid-windup game shot. An ungraded but autographed variation—a Black Raywave with a #1/10 mark—sold in late August for $3,750 on 27 bids. A Black Geometric variation, also in an edition of 10, sold for $2,425 on 46 bids.
As Schlittler helps us recall greats like Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver, Fergie Jenkins and, perhaps, a young Gerrit Cole, keep your eyes open for deals before they soar to new heights.
