Babe Ruth’s granddaughter makes special appearance at The National
MLB legend Babe Ruth had a large presence at The National this year thanks to a special appearance by his granddaughter, Linda Ruth.
Linda Ruth, the daughter of Dorothy Helen Ruth Pirone, Babe’s only biological daughter, appeared on the eBay Live stage at the National Sports Collectors Convention as a guest of the Vintage Sportscard Club.
With the help of Ruth, Vintage Sportscard Club auctioned more than 100 Babe Ruth cards, autographs, photographs and memorabilia.

“It was a thrill of a lifetime to be there with all those thousands of people watching us on the main stage—and especially with Linda. It was a dream come true for us,” said Andre Chiavelli, owner and CEO of Vintage Sportscard Club.
