Autographed World Cup soccer balls, jerseys to be auctioned by Christie’s
World Cup soccer fans will soon be able to bid on game-used balls and jerseys signed by such stars as Lionel Messi and players from the U.S. national team in a new auction by Christie’s.
Christie's and Global Citizen, the world's largest charity to end extreme poverty, will host the One Goal online auction July 22-29. Proceeds will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative to raise $100 million to expand access to education and sports for children in underserved communities.

Headlining the auction will be jerseys signed by Messi, Santiago Gimenez, the U.S. Men's National team, and more. Also up for bid will be outfits worn by Shakira and other entertainers in the first World Cup halftime show at MetLife Stadium on July 19.
Also headlining the auction are:
• Balls used in the World Cup Final and the opening game at Estadio Azteca, Mexico City June 11 (Mexico-South Africa); Toronto Stadium June 12 (Canada-Bosnia & Herzegovina); and SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, Calif. ( US-Paraguay).
• World Cup Trionda ball signed by Santiago Gimenez.
• Austrian team signed jersey and ball.
• Outfits worn by Shakira in the video for “Dai Dai,” the official song of the 2026 World Cup performed at the opening game in Mexico City, and during her performance at the Final halftime show.
• World Cup 2026 Earth Ball with list of halftime performers handwritten by Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
• World Cup Earth Ball signed by Shakira, Kaka, and Gianni Infantino.
